Flying in Slovenia Lijak brings you similar experiences like in the Alps. Even in autumn you can spend in the air many hours. Lijak ridge is situated on sunny side, and work very well also with light north wind. It is one of the easiest places for paragliding in Alps. Even if it is bad weather everywhere else, here we can fly. Lijak is 12 km long ridge and follow with 2 jumps above valley to another ridge, so you can also try your first cross country flight. Easy road to the take off make fast transport.

Lijak take off is good also for beginners and landing place is situated just bellow the 600 m high ridge. This place bring you very easy climb in thermal and you can spend your first few hour in the air, or try your first cross country flight. The accommodation is situated in camping with high quality of service, just above the hill close official landing place. Behind camping is natural lake with entry free from camping. This valley is also famous for its great vine, which you can taste from local people.

The journey starts from Prague – Černý Most at 19:00 h. from Mac Donald, every time the evening before the course. We follow with Jemm Bus to Brno 21:30 h, petrol station Tesco – Futurum and go to Viena, Graz, Klagenfurt to Greifenburg. The way back is in nigh the last planning day.
