With a switched-off lights we slowly parked the car close to the desert playground ( a place where we would like to land ). In a hurry we got ready useful stuff and with daybreak we went off to the fence over the playground. When I was getting over I had teared my trousers :( I hoped that today it will be the first and also the last accident :) We went ahead that piece of land as far as to the foot a huge, 200 metres high, chimney. Along the conductor we climbed up to the beginning of a rusty step ladder. The equipment we had covered in front of us in the small packsack, cause of a small space between a protective hoops and a step ladder. We were climbing around thirty minutes, thirty minutes left, right, left, right…:( Fortunately on the way were the galleries..It looked as when we are climbing along the sky step ladder, that was from the beginning covered in the clouds. When we were on the top,I went on the last galery to a have look inside the chimney. In that darkness were getting lost the light walls of chimney with a tiny foot rest, where was hidden a couple kestrels. About two hours we were watching the sun above ours heads and the clouds below us. At 9 a.m. the fog started to go back.
I made a radio contact with Jarda, everybody were ready..I put on foot the smoke bomb and the camera on the hand, checked the closing thorns of the parachute and auxiliary parachute.
