Meduno to Bassano
In last week of September we had plan to trip to the flying site called Meduno. It is very nice place, characteristic with smooth and nice flying not only for beginners, with large grassy take off. But NW situation was bad for this place, so we had to decide to move again to Bassano, which is more Mountain covered. All the people fly 4 days, thermal activity was great, nearly strong and turbulent, exactly up the mountain, where south thermal and main wind make convergence and split together. The beginners developed their starts, landing and also turning in the termal. Three flights per day were for everybody enough. The evening we finished in Pizzeria with fantastic pizza and “vino rosso”. That is why nobody want to go back home.
