Do you wonder why we have in our gallery of kitesurfing so much photos with a scubadiving ? Well, when I all the time choose only sports, which are so much dependent on the wheather, I have to look also for the alternatives in case of shit wheather :-)

Magda, our Polish instructress, was very precise and after one day we knew the theory of kiting from A to Z …In regard of poverty of wind we should find the alternative activities. Scubadiving in Egypt belongs to one the most attractive activities, whereon the wheather has not such a big influence. In a way, the world underwater remind me the free fall. Almost zero gravity with freedom and a touch of adrenalin. I have to admit, that after three days without any wind I became a bit nervous, 95% of tourists didn´t understand, why we are so dissatisfied, when the sky is without clouds, the sea is warm and clean and temeperature is around thirty in shadow…

The God of the wind finaly answered to our prayer and toasting on a wind. Next morning the palms, owning to the streaming wind, began to move. Fast breakfast, sandwich for lunch and hurry up on the beach…

From students we were first on the beach,we should just wait for the instructors, after they finish theirs blustering on the water and come back to work :) It was amazing to watch them during this exhibition. I understand them, we are doing same break during the basic course, just called that a thermic break :) In adition this way of ideomotory training put me a lot…

At last came the long expected moment and we took our kite and the fun could start.

Led by Mark Zach, one of best – one – betters instructors, we went towards a new experiences. The first falls were truly amusing, we had duly flushed our sinuses :-) After a couple attempts, I went off a several metres. It was a realy motivational reward for me …The sunset saved our life, otherwise we could died cause of exhaustion :-) After 6 hours in the water we came out soaked with burned faces from the sun, red eyes from salt water but with a satisfied smile on our faces..

A part of teaching, which is called " climbing up to wind" was perfect, actually with a board below my shoulder :) I made a aim to spin around without a fall and to get out from the board on the same place, where I got on. A half an hour before the sunset I was leaving the water as a winner :) It doesnt matter that at each movement I feel each muscle of my body…

Finaly, who desire to learn a surfkiting, El Gouna is the perfect place, 300m wide zone of shallow water, aproximately 300 days from the year is blowing the warm wind of ideal direction and power, best instructors ……
