Dune de Pyla in September 2011
After a break we are back here, in Dune du Pyla, the lagest sandy dune in Europe. We were greeted by the sunny day since the first day and we used that to fly till the sunset.
Next day we enjoyed croissants for breakfast and barefoot surfing with the gliders in the sand.
We learned groundhandling in a strong wind, surfing in the sand and touch-and-go wingovers.
Conditions for flying came out perfectly, in ten days we had only two days of rest, which were quite handy. A lot of flying, fun, wine and evenings under the stars and giants cones – and of course many, many sand everywhere! ;o)
