At Sunday was very windy, but we try luck on the coast, in place called Conil. It is 20 m high and 400 m long ridge above the playa in Atlantic Ocean. It is fantastic place for soaring. But the wind was blowing from the side. We could only practice handling and make short flights. Some pilots were training; some of them were enjoying high temperature on the sun sitting in beach pub. Next days we used for flying our home site, Lijar Mountain with morning Levante and afternoon Poniente take offs. Many pilots from other countries were coming during that week. The conditions were very smooth; sometimes during soaring were too many pilots in the air. We had to be very carefully, because many of them were beginners. We usually start at first or find our separate space in the air to enjoy the flight.

In the evening didn’t miss” home vine party”, open sky barbecue with great steaks, JJ Bar, trips to old historical Zahara town and to Olvera. Last day was really excellent. Short shower clean the air and bring strong thermal, high cloud base and possibility to fly cross country around this beautiful area. We try to get twin peaks El Gastor and back or try to fly all day. This excellent day we finished in local Venta with “Solomio Iberico ala pimiento verde”. Good bye all the friends, exactly to Standa, Jirka, Sysel, Indian, Pavel and Hankytata!!!
