After last year of our experiences, we bring this time a lot of warm thinks. But during our first week spending here we found, that we don’t need them. On the other hand we had to buy sun cream, shorts and flip flops. At begin the south wind was blowing, so we used our nice Poniente take off. Later the cold front was coming, cleaning the air and change the wind to north directions. That was good for practice take off, handling, landing and thermal in place called Ronda de la Vijeja. Large ridge, not so high but with amazing space around, great for soaring and thermal. David and Michaela show us, how to make it. Our plans that week were morning flying and afternoon trips. We visit fantastic deep canyon with a lot of “orlosupů” or walk close to 2000 years old amphitheater situated on high Plato. Boys also try to practice climbing and find new footpath up the Lijar Mountain. We enjoy a lot also local pub called “Venta”, where cook fantastic local meat specialist. Let’s follow to second week.
