Second serial class competition Czech Ligue 2010 was situated in Slovakia Stranik close Zilina. However the weather was before fantastic, during first week of April was mostly rainy. That is why 70 pilots did not come, only 30 persons.

First Saturday of May the weather forecast prediction was not very good for flying, but we flow valid 43 km Task. This time was better to wait and catch right moment. No one in goal, and the longest distance was 26 km by Jarda Novák. In the evening we celebrate flying day with sponsor Šariš beer.

From Sunday till Thursday the weather was the same, rainy showers, but still warm. Only main Meteo man keeps us to stay and wait for better weather. Waiting for flying, we enjoy tracks in Small Fatra, hot spa baths, big fires in the evening and barbecue. In Friday it looks better and finally we flow second task. It was stopped by thunderstorm, but valid. The task was direction to Čadca town with 2 turn points. Big blue sky lets go to fly. First pilots turn up above Stranik, don’t wait and fly above clouds. First 15 km was perfect, but than big rain stop the task. We can not wait or fly different direction, we had to immediately land. Next Saturday looks similar. Only more pilots come to enjoy flying with us. The start was open 2 times with small shower, finally the 3 task was also valid, but stopped by rain. Direction to the 1.TP was two big dark clouds with rain, we wait a little, but they move to us. I called, Level 3 in radio, and looked for good landing place. Some of the pilots flow back, but everyone land safe.

The winner of the competition was Jarda Novák, I made 7.position. It was just pity that weather was not perfect. But every time when I come to Slovakia and see nice landscape, meet Slovakia people and have new experiences, it make me happy.
